Our Great Incohonee, Eugene Truax, is asking for your help for his National Project during his 2018-2020 tenure. He is calling for all Red Men and Pocahontas' to contribute and help raise needed funds to replace the roof on the Faith of Our Fathers Chapel, located on the Freedoms Foundation campus in Valley Forge, PA.
The Improved Order of Red Men built this chapel 51 years ago and funds are raised each year to help with the upkeep. A large project was done, previously, during PGI Edward Neff's tenure and we are now in need of replacing the roof.
The goal is $20,000.00
All donations, large or small, will be greatly appreciated.
If you prefer to mail a check, please make check out to "Freedoms Foundation" and email firstname.lastname@example.org for the mailing address of our Freedoms Foundation representatives.
Sons of Liberty Flag*
In 1767, the Sons of Liberty adopted a flag with nine uneven vertical stripes (five red and four white). It is supposed that nine represented the number of colonies that were to attend the Stamp Act Congress.
*There are a variety of flags representing the Sons of Liberty. The "stripes of rebellion" are the main feature. They can be different colors, vertical or horizontal, and can number from 9 to 13 (depending on how many colonies were in rebellion at the time).
